Numerous demonstrations in favour of Palestine held in Greece

On Monday 13 May, thousands of students responded to the call of the Student Unions of Athens and participated in the vigil held at the deanery of the University of Athens. Similar initiatives were also taken by students in other cities, such as Thessaloniki and Ioannina. The students of Greece joined the thousands of students around the world who are standing on the right side of history, struggling against the crime of the murderous state of Israel and expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

 

 

 

 

 

Earlier in the day, members of the KKE surprised the state mechanisms as they stood in front of the gate of the Israeli embassy and staged a protest. In this way, they sent a militant message condemning the genocide of the Palestinian people and shouted “Freedom for Palestine”.
