Large rallies of school and university students across Greece

Thousands of school and university students flooded the center of Athens and demonstrated in more than 40 cities across the country on November 6, escalating the struggle against policies that underfund education in order to pour billions of euros into military equipment and NATO. They demanded an end to the country's participation in wars and its shameful support for the murderous state of Israel, which continues to occupy and massacre the Palestinian people.

They were joined by parents' associations, teachers' and professors' unions, and hospital doctors who are also on strike these days.

In a symbolic gesture, school and university students laid flowers in memory of the victims of Tembi in front of the parliament building, where the names of the dead are written, emphasizing that the new generation does not forget and does not forgive those guilty of the crime, and continues the struggle against the profit-driven system that does not value human life.
